The kind of marriage portrayed in A Second Chance is not the typical marriage that everybody wishes to happen in reality. It is a companionship spiced up with husband-wife competition, unexpected jealousy, unacceptable failures. But after watching it, moviegoers will learn to accept that marriage is not perfect. It is a typical institution coated with love, hatred, jealousy, insecurities, competition, among others. What matters in marriage are not those "What If's" where we look forward to acceptable answers. It is the "What Is" that keeps marriage perfectly imperfect. After all, marriage does not take paths as linear, rather always a two-way street.
